I appreciated especially the comparison between Prohibition and immigration. Fixing the legal migration pipeline would be a big step toward competition in the labor market; although I wonder if another ‘demand’ to consider is what the U.S. still represents to millions outside the country who are impoverished, persecuted, or simply lost.
